The Forest Park Neighborhood Association is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in our community, and we need your help to achieve our goals. Available Volunteer Positions:
Block Captains
As a Block Captain, you will be the liaison between the association and residents on your block. Responsibilities include:
- Distributing newsletters and flyers
- Organizing block meetings and events
- Communicating residents' concerns to the association
- Promoting community programs and initiatives
Committee Help
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with various committees, including:
- Event Planning: Help organize and execute community events and activities.
- Fundraising: Assist in developing and implementing fundraising strategies.
- Communications: Aid in managing our website, social media, and newsletters.
Zoning Committee
Volunteers on the Zoning Committee will:
- Review and provide input on zoning changes and development proposals
- Attend zoning hearings and meetings
- Advocate for smart growth and development that benefits our community
Safety Chair
The Safety Chair will lead efforts to ensure a safe environment in Forest Park by:
- Coordinating neighborhood watch programs
- Liaising with local law enforcement
- Organizing safety workshops and events
- Addressing residents' safety concerns
Legislative Chair
The Legislative Chair will be responsible for:
- Monitoring local legislation that affects our community
- Keeping residents informed about legislative changes

Housing Chair
The Housing Chair will focus on improving housing conditions by:
- Assisting residents with housing-related issues

Sanitation Help
Volunteers for Sanitation Help will:
- Organize neighborhood clean-up events

Transportation Help
Volunteers in the Transportation Help role will:
- Advocate for better public transportation options
